Sacred Origins
Inspired by Himalayan visual language, Tibetan symbols, and meaningful natural-stone jewelry traditions.
Handwoven in Tibet from naturally textured yak wool, this dual-use strap is designed to carry either a camera or phone. Its tactile geometric patterns, hand-wrapped ends and alloy hardware preserve the distinctive character of traditional handwork while adapting it for modern everyday use.
Designed to move between everyday moments and creative journeys, the Kailora Handwoven Yak Wool Camera & Phone Strap offers two ways to carry the objects you reach for most.
Its geometric pattern is formed through interlacing yarn rather than surface printing, giving every color block visible depth and tactile character. The yak wool has a naturally coarse, slightly fuzzy surface. Small variations in fiber texture, stitching tension and color placement are part of the handwoven process, making each strap subtly different.
Use the included alloy metal clasps to attach the strap to a compatible camera, or add the phone tether tab to carry your phone hands-free.
What we carry shapes how we move through the world.
Every thread in this strap is connected. Each pull affects the line beside it, and each line becomes part of a larger pattern. Designed to carry a camera or phone, it holds more than a device—it carries the moments you choose to notice, preserve and bring forward.
What you carry shapes what returns.

Burgundy Multi-Color — Wide

The yarn has a naturally coarse and slightly fuzzy surface. For greater comfort during extended wear, we recommend wearing the strap over clothing rather than directly against bare skin.
For phone use, pair the tether tab with a fully enclosed phone case. Compatibility may vary depending on the case design and charging-port opening.
For camera use, confirm that your camera has secure strap lugs or compatible attachment points. Always inspect the clasps, rings and connections before use.
Across the Tibetan plateau, thread has long been more than a material. Twisted, tensioned and guided by hand, it slowly becomes something made to travel with you.
Each strand is worked again and again for strength. Every geometric pattern takes shape one line at a time, carrying the rhythm of the hands behind it. The tension of the yarn, the meeting of two colors and the subtle movement along the edges all preserve the quiet character of handwork.
Yak wool is not perfectly smooth. It holds a naturally coarse texture, a soft halo of fibers and the honest vitality of a material shaped by the highlands. Stone gray, earthy ochre, mustard gold and deep burgundy come together in tactile geometric forms.
You may notice loose fibers, slightly uneven stitches or small variations from one strap to another. These are not flaws to be removed. They are traces of the making process—the soul of handcraft.
Attach it to a camera and let it carry the landscapes you choose to remember. Connect it to your phone and let it move with you through ordinary streets and distant roads.
No two leaves grow exactly alike. The spirit of handcraft lives in that same quiet difference.
